TALON · the decision layer for the sky

Know what is in your airspace. Prove what you did about it.

Octaryn monitors the airspace above your site, coordinates the lawful response, and produces a defensible record of every incident. We provide the sensing, the monitoring and the evidence as a service. You do not need to own any equipment.

Daily

contraband drone deliveries into UK and EU correctional facilities

1,063

drone sightings at UK prisons in 2023, up 770%+ since 2019 (MoJ data)

4x

rise in drone incidents near European critical infrastructure, 2024 to 2025

Problem01

Autonomy is outrunning authority

Most organisations can account for everything that happens on the ground and nothing that happens above it. Cameras stop at the fence line. When a drone appears over a stadium, a data centre or a secure facility, three questions follow immediately, and most sites cannot answer any of them. What was it. Where did it come from. What did we do. Without a record, an incident becomes a rumour. You cannot report it credibly, escalate it usefully, or defend a decision about it afterwards.

Monitor

Sensing as a service

We deploy and operate the sensing over your site. No capital purchase, no procurement of equipment you will need to maintain, no integration project. Existing sensors, where you have them, are incorporated.

Coordinate

Lawful response

When something enters your airspace, we assess it and drive the response your site is permitted to take, escalating to police where escalation is warranted, with the information they need to act.

Record

Evidence

Every incident produces a timestamped, auditable account of what was detected, what was decided, who was informed and when. Retained, searchable, and built to stand up to scrutiny.

A drone over your site is not an incident until someone can prove it happened. Most of them never happened.

Why now02

New laws just created a mandatory software layer. Nobody owns it.

  1. Sept–Oct 2025

    Drones shut down European airports

Copenhagen and Oslo closed after large drones forced 109 cancellations and 51 reroutes; Munich shut twice in 24 hours weeks later.

  2. Feb 2026

EU Action Plan on Drone and Counter-Drone Security

European Commission plan coordinating detection, response and defence-readiness measures across member states, backed by Horizon Europe, the European Defence Fund and EDIP.

  3. Jul 2026In force

EU Critical Entities Resilience guidance in force

Commission guidance under the CER Directive gives member states and critical-infrastructure operators specific advice on countering drone threats.

  4. 2026

    UK homeland package

£35M prison counter-drone package, £30M+ UKDI homeland counter-drone investment, live national competitions.

Every newly authorised agency must now decide lawfully, act through approved systems, and prove it afterwards. That is a software product — and regulation just made it compulsory.

The law03

Within the law, by design

In the UK, only police and government may disrupt or defeat a drone. Private sites may detect, assess, locate where possible, and escalate. Octaryn is built to that boundary deliberately. We do not sell you a capability you cannot lawfully use, and we do not put your organisation on the wrong side of the Wireless Telegraphy Act.

Permitted to your site

Detect

Sensing over your site, operated by us and running continuously.

Assess

Classify what is up there and judge it against your site's rules.

Locate

Fix the aircraft, and the operator where the signal allows it.

Escalate

Hand police a briefed, evidenced incident they can act on.

Reserved to the state

Disrupt or defeat

Jamming, spoofing and kinetic effect are reserved to police and government. We do not sell them to private sites, and TALON COMMAND is released only to users who hold the legal authority to use it.

What we give you is speed, coordination and proof — the whole of what the law permits, and, in practice, the whole of what most incidents require.

The console04

Built for the control room, not the demo

TALON runs where the operator already sits. Screens from the current build.

TALON digital twin view of a secure facility with sensor coverage and live detections

One fused picture of the site

Every sensor, structure and track rendered into a live 3D twin of the protected site — zones, device health and incursion history in a single operator view.

  • Sensor-agnostic fusion
  • OSM structure import
  • Zone breach logic
Who it is for05

Sites where an unexplained aircraft is a reportable event

Sites where an unexplained airspace incident carries real operational, regulatory or reputational cost.

Critical national infrastructure

Energy, water, nuclear and airports — and the data centres the rest of it runs on. UK CNI competitions are live now, and the EU's Critical Entities Resilience Directive is driving the same requirement across member states.

Stadiums, arenas and major events

Tens of thousands of people under open sky, on a fixed date, in front of a broadcast feed. The incident you cannot explain afterwards is the one that costs you the licence.

Secure facilities

Prisons and correctional estates, where contraband arrives by air daily and every sighting is a reportable statutory problem with a named budget behind it.

High-value industrial sites

Plant, process and R&D estates, where an overflight is simultaneously a safety question, an intellectual property question and an insurance question.

Tiers06

Per site, per year. Or per event.

A per-site annual subscription, or a per-event deployment. Sensing, monitoring, response coordination and the evidence record are included. No capital expenditure.

Foundation

per site, per year

One site, RF detection, wired into the control room you already run.

  • Single-site RF detection
  • Automated alerting into your control room
  • Incident record for every detection
  • Quarterly reporting

Standard

per site, per year

Multi-sensor where the site needs it, with people watching during the hours that matter.

  • Multi-sensor where the site needs it
  • Tighter escalation SLA
  • Human oversight during defined risk windows
  • Monthly reporting and evidence pack production

Enhanced

per site, per year

Radar and optical, for critical national infrastructure and large venues.

  • Genuine multi-sensor: radar, RF and optical
  • Built for CNI and large-stadium risk profiles
  • Everything in Standard, at estate scale
  • Evidence packs to national-authority standard

Events

per deployment

Temporary deployment for a fixed date — a single fixture through to a multi-day festival.

  • Deployed, operated and removed by us
  • Priced per day against a minimum
  • Full evidence record for the licensing authority

Every tier is scoped and quoted against the individual site: geography, sensor mix and the escalation SLA it needs all move the number. All of them are delivered as a service — Octaryn owns, deploys and maintains the sensing, so there is nothing on your balance sheet and nothing for your team to keep running.
